I was greeted immediately by Laura as I walked in, she was absolutely lovely and spent time helping me choose the perfect piece for my earring stack. My piercer, Sarah, was so gentle and completely put me at ease. This is probably the best piecing experience I’ve ever had! I would love to come back for another!

From the moment I stepped into the studio, I felt completely at ease. The vibe was warm and welcoming - not a hint of the intimidating atmosphere I’d always associated with piercing studios. Despite being a total novice (let’s be honest, getting my ears pierced nearly 40 years ago probably doesn’t count!), everyone was so kind and helpful. They guided me through choosing my jewellery and made me feel calm throughout.

I specifically chose Laura Bond because I wanted high-quality 14ct gold piercings for my sensitive skin and because the studio looked like the kind of place where someone my age wouldn’t feel out of place. I wasn’t wrong.

Even on a busy Saturday afternoon, the team had time for a chat and nothing ever felt rushed. Sarah Crowe did my piercings and she was absolutely lovely. Reassuring, professional, and brilliant at explaining each step. I felt completely safe in her hands.

I’ve been given clear aftercare instructions and I’m really hoping all heals well. If it does, I’ll definitely be back for another little sparkle later in the year.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about getting a piercing because of your age, worries about pain, or walking into a studio that doesn’t feel “you” I genuinely can’t recommend Laura Bond enough. Yes, it’s a little more expensive, but it’s worth every penny for the quality, care, and experience.
